The VersaDisk-1030 is available in power levels of 5 W, 10 W, 20 W, 30 W, 40 W, 50 W and 100 W at 1030 nm.

Options include single frequency operation. With this option, the rated single frequency output power is typically > 50 % than the rated TEM00 output.

By inserting a Brewster plate, linear polarization is achieved. Due to the broad emission spectrum of theYb:YAG crystal, the addition of a Lyot filter allows the wavelength tuning between 1010 nm and 1055 nm.

The various options can be combined to achieve the desired characteristics. If the requirements change, the optical elements can be added or removed later on.

Applications for the laser include: atomic traps, optical tweezers, high-performance engraving and rapid prototyping.
